Post-release
On the 20th of June 2008 the First International Festival took place in Kiev. The like festivals usually take place in Italy, Germany, France, Japan, Australia, Malta and so on. But in Ukraine such festival was held for the first time.
In 2008 “Ukrsibbank” celebrated the 18th anniversary of its successful activity on the financial market of Ukraine. The Bank decided to celebrate its birthday in the unusual way – to make the unforgettable present to Kiev guests and citizens. The above mentioned present was the First International Firework Festival in Kiev, which took place on the 20th of June with the participation of the leading pyrotechnic companies of the world level.
The initiator of that festival was PR-agency “aPRel” together with the company “Dance of Fire”.
The company “Dance of Fire” – is one of the leaders of the pyrotechnic business in Ukraine – due to the long and basic preparation gave the possibility to realize such an entertaining event and provided the professional technical support.
The four companies participated in the festival.
The mortars (launching devices) were put on the barges. They were charged and linked to the computers that operated the show. Only they could provide so exact and synchronic start, made the fireworks in the true sense of the word dance to music.
The impressions after the festival (expressed by happy Julia):
“The first to shoot were the Italians ( the order of performances I know for sure, the fragments of the DJ’s welcome speech were heard through the roar of cannonade) – that was the best firework I had ever seen, only the firework and nothing else –beautiful, saturated but had a lack of ginger. I couldn’t m?nage to understand for what the background music was linked.
But from the second performance I clearly felt the difference between simple firework and show-performance. The second to shoot was our team – “Dance of Fire” – their fires in the true sense of the word danced to music. Moreover, time stepped to the music that was heard well despite the noise. Firstly the fires danced waltz, then tango, also was the foxtrot, “tsuganochka s vuhodom” (there were the colored gipsy tents on the entrance which were gleaming fightingly as the real ones) and also magnificent and rousing samba. I am proud, my dear! I am proud of the proficiency of my compatriots! Pride for our team had puffed me up during the whole evening, though the show of Germans was highly competitive with ours, but the French – that is very surprising – knocked off spots.
The Germans also matched to music almost all the time, but music was heard worse somehow, and may be that’s why the opinion that they didn’t reach the level of “Dance of Fire” was created.
What about French - there are no words! Waterfalls, flowers, hearts and diamonds – spreading exactly to the music, moreover the fire representation fitted exactly the music picture: the background, the main theme and the highlighted accords – it was the real light chaser. Masterpiece.”
The performance of French team was considered to be the best – and the diploma of victory was presented for them worthily.
The rest of participators as well as our company “Dance of Fire” received the diplomas of the laureates of the International Firework Festival.
